- The ToonSeum, a Pittsburgh museum dedicated to the cartoon arts, is moving to a larger location.
- 12-year-old Alexa Kitchen, the "world's youngest professional cartoonist" has a new book called "Grown-Ups are Dumb! (No Offense)". Alexa completed her first book, "Drawing Comics is Easy! (Except When It's Hard)" at the age of 7, and was nominated for a Harvey award and an Eisner award in 2007.
