The Fork #1 ..?

Hey everyone. The dish is on a two week vacation due to my work schedule conflicting with our recording time. While I was considering recording something quick just to fill the time, Jason Torchia did it for me! So a big thanks to him. I listened to it ahead of time to make sure that he didn't just record this to make fun of me and I got a good laugh out of it. So thanks to Jason, and enjoy the show!

- Comic Dish's other podcast, The Plate, has come to an end.
- A new book called Looking for Calvin and Hobbes: The Unconventional Story of Bill Watterson and his Revolutionary Comic Strip is set to be released on October 1st.
- 24 Hour Comics Day is this Saturday, October 3rd.
- A movie based on the comic strip Marmaduke is being developed by 20th Century Fox.
- The 2009 Ignatz winners have been announced. The award for Outstanding Online Comic went to Year of the Rat by Cayetano Garza. A full list of all the award winners can be found here.
