Episode number 4 of the Dish is a little long, but well worth it. Today we have with us Marc Gunn and Andrew McKee of the Brobdingnagian Bards. It was a very fun conversation that I've been wanting to have for a long time.
Unfortunately, Shayne was unable to join me today, so the news is just me talking, and I didn't have access to the music that he usually edits in, so there is no intro or exit music (will add later). Finally, I also discuss the webcomic Tastes Like Chicken, which all of you should go and check out. |

In episode 3 of The Dish we talk about Smackjeeves, a free webcomic
hosting service, and we get to interview Dan, the creator of the site,
as well.
Our random comic this week is Return Zero, and next week it will be Tastes Like Chicken, so if you want your opinion aired, make sure to go to the forum and tell us. Finally, JT from the Gigcast has created a webcomic podcast site, which both lists the webcomic podcasts and shows you all of the latest posts from them. Cool beans! |

Episode #2 of the Dish. Today we have Reed Hawker (Hawk) and Mary (Modesty) of the MAX. The Multi-Artist Exchange is a system that has two rounds a month in which participants have their names put in a virtual hat, mixed up, and handed out. Everyone draws for someone else, everyone gets art, it's all around a great thing to participate in.
We start our Random Comic segment with Been Better. In comic news, Looking for Group has a short animated music video where Richard, the undead warlock, sings a parody of "Part of your world" from the Little Mermaid. They have announced that they are having a full-length feature film made about the comic by Blind Ferret, the same company behind the PvP animated shorts. |

Finally, the very first Comic Dish podcast. In this episode, we tell you a little bit about what you can expect with the Dish, and we manage to snag JT and Scott (not Tim... sorry Scott!) from The Gigcast to come in and chat with us. It was a terribly fun episode to tape, and I think you'll love it.
You won't love some of the technical issues with it (some echo, some not-so-clear talking), but hey... it's our first. So give it a listen, and when you're done check out Comic Dish. While you're at it, check out The Gigcast as well! |
