*Logo Contest enters phase 2A. Congrats to JTorch who won the concept phase votes. In this phase people are asked to take JTorch's design and improve upon it/fiddle with the concept. See the forum thread. *Rumours about a UK comic con featuring guests such as Stan Lee, Alan Moore, the cast of Transformers, and others are most likely false. *Drunk Elephant Comics is having a contest: "Best drunk story wins a brand new iPhone 3GS from me, personally, and gets worked into the comic." More information here. *Scott Kurtz' comic, Ding!, has been relaunched as a Sunday feature on his main comic, PVP, at http://www.pvponline.com/. *Krishna Sadasivam of PC Weenies and Ryan Sohmer of Least I Could Do each have a new print collection available: PC Weenies: Rebootus Maximus includes bonus artwork, never-before-seen strips, and more. The first 200 copies sold come with extras, including an autographed sketch. LICD Beginnings: Look at Me! is a collection of the first 30 Least I Could Do Beginnings strips and is limited to 500 copies. *David Gallaher of High Moon, the first Zuda contest winner, is also releasing a print collection, on sale October 7th. *Captain America soon to come back to life. The logo Contest is now in phase 1B, meaning it's time to vote on a concept! Not entirely sure when voting ends but eh. We missed Drawing Day...who knew? Nickelodeon Magazine is shutting it's paper doors. This story is a couple weeks old, but hasn't been mentioned yet on The Dish: Viz has launched a webcomics site.
